Take 8?! I’ve been at this for 8 weeks already? It feels like just yesterday that I decided I needed an outlet for all my personal blogging. It’s been an amazing 8 weeks so far, and I’m only feeling more and more inspired. Have I got lots of fun posts for you coming up!
This week there was all sorts of awesome stuff on the internet, and I was about to post 15 things in this post. I decided that might be overwhelming, so I begrudgingly chopped it down to 5 (well… sort of 7, but what the heck). Each of these 5 (…7…) posts is really, really good.
Starting with my most favorite (I realize that “most favorite” is totally redundant, but it’s my blog, and that’s how I feel!).
Kirsten’s post about Paris captured me utterly and completely. It’s so beautifully written and makes me so very excited for this summer. I’m in love with Paris, and have been since I first visited at 12 years old. Since that first trip I’ve spent a total of about 8 weeks in Paris, each day growing better than the last. It’s been about 6.5 years since I’ve been to Paris, and truly, I can’t wait to go back.
Just yesterday, one of my favorite wedding photogs posted her images from her recent trip to Paris. They take my breath away, so a shout out to Tara McMullen as well, check it out if you want to swoon over some Paris imagery!
Next up this week is photograph.
Moment Junkie is a relatively new site (like this!) It’s the brainchild of Ryan Brenizer and Kyle Hepp. And it’s awesome. Go check it out. You won’t be disappointed!
In decorate this week, I present a brooklyn limestone in progress.
This post is actually a “steal” of another post (see the original over at 221 vision) but without a brooklyn limestone, I never would have discovered 221 vision… oh the magic of the internet. This is the best DIY project I have ever seen. I’m totally impressed and I can’t wait until I get a new space to make myself a sweet and stunning hallway bench!
So, I haven’t yet made this meal that I’m posting in eat, but it looks delicious. And don’t worry – I’ll make it soon!
I didn’t even know there was a sirachia cookbook until I came across this post on Matt Bites. I can’t wait to try this meal, and probably buy the cookbook. I LOVE rooster sauce, almost as much as the hubs loves Franks!
Finally, a bonus post this week.
Thank you Jenny. For telling it like it is. I really am not in the mood for -10C (14F) with a “Real Feel” of -17C (1F) on March 27. Just sayin.
What an AWESOME blog you have!! Thanks for the kind words on our bench!!
Xoxo,

Allison – thank you SO much for including me in this very wonderful post … and for your super sweet words. I am honored to be amongst such amazing company (Ryan and Kyle are two of my IDOLS in the photography world) and to be featured on such a beautiful blog. XOXO
